Been reading through a lot of the Sherlock Holmes novells, A study in Scarlet, Sign of Four, Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and The Valley of Fear.
Also continued reading H.P. Lovecraft stories, Dreams in the Witch House, Shadow over Innsmouth, Lurking Fear, At the Mountains of Madness and a few more.

Movies watched in the last month or so…

Stink of Flesh – an “unusual” zombie move.
Boondock Saints – Great John Woo-inspired action with DaFoe stealing the show.
Oldboy – Grand Korean thriller.
The Driver – Good car chase movie from the late 70’s
Ju-On – Scary!
November – Quite good.
Sympathy for Mr Vengenance
Serenity
Tora! Tora! Tora!

Lately I have been spending som time with the writings of H.P. Lovecraft. Specifically I have read The Case of Charles Dexter Ward (one of his longer works I’m told), The Call of Cthulu (the Cthulu mythos was what first interested me) and numeros shorter stories.

Saner desktop with sudo

I have for quite some time been using passwordless sudo. This is mostly a question about me being a bit lazy, but later I found out that Ubuntu is set up the same way by default.
Sudo is configured in /etc/sudoers with the visudo command (the name aside, it uses $EDITOR) and can look like [...]
