3D for NV-cards?

Someone over at the Ubuntu community wiki pointed out that there are some work being done to get 3D acceleration for Nvidia cards working with free drivers. Most of this seems to be based of the old Utah-GLX project.

Eric Anholt has written documentation for the hardware.

Lost Highway and The Wall

Watched Lost Highway (last Friday actually) and Pink Floyd The Wall.
Lost Highway completely blow me away, there are some really wonderful images there. The soundtrack and music is beautifully pieced together with great acting and a classic Lynch storyline. Highly recommended!
The Wall lived up to my expectations and was quite enjoyable, if a bit intense. [...]

Free Flash

Some really cool people are working on a free flash plugin and player. They are aiming for support for interactivity, actionscript and full Flash 7 support. Even tough a Flash plugin never comes anywhere near my browser (a standalone player could be nice tough) this is very good news indeed.
